You need:
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1/4 cup riccotta cheese
- White Pasta Sauce
- Linguine Pasta
- Fresh Sausage Links
- 1/2 tomato (small diced)
- 2 broccoli crowns (cut into florets)
- dash of: salt
- pepper
- garlic salt
- garlic pepper
- red pepper flakes
- Heat oil over medium, medium-high heat. When it sizzles add the sausage and sear. Turn as it browns. Total cook time = 16 minutes. Deglaze pan with a small amount of water or cooking wine & remove sausage to a plate.
- Saute broccoli (medium, medium-high heat), add 2 tbsp water and spices. Cover and steam for 4 minutes. Add tomato. Saute for 1 1/2 minutes.
- Return sausage to pan. Add sauce and ricotta cheese and incorporate vegetables.
Serve with french bread, and enjoy!
