Fried Squash

With all the squash that is about to come out of our garden I thought I would share one of my favorite recipes, fried squash! It is a southern staple!

  • Squash 
  • Chili Powder 
  • Black Pepper 
  • Salt 
  • Garlic Salt 
  • Paprika 
  • Flour 
  • Oil 
  1. Heat 1/4″ oil in saute pan on medium-high heat 
  2. Cut Squash into 1/2″ rounds. 
  3. Sprinkle both sides with all spices 
  4. Put flour into a bowl and toss spiced squash to coat 
  5. Fry until golden brown on both sides 
  6. Pull out & put onto plate covered in paper towels 
  7. Sprinkle with salt
